Wars you did not declare will still send soldiers.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” So the thief’s arrival proves you have something worth stealing, killing, or destroying.
Nobody organizes themselves against what they have already dismissed. You must discern that indifference is the response to nothing, so opposition is an appraisal. Therefore, when a hand reaches out to shrink you, that hand has already measured you and found you significant. People do not reach for what has no weight.
Some things announce themselves before you open your mouth. Light is one of them.
If you carry something, and you know when you carry something, rooms change when you walk in. Then you MUST be more aware of how things shift. Learn early that what rises to greet you is rarely you at all. It is your presence, reflected off what each person has buried. People meet whatever your presence stirs in them, and they name it you.
You did nothing. You stood there. And something in them went to war because the same light that warms one burns the other. Without even you knowing you have shaken their core, reminded them of the promises they made to themselves and did not keep, you have awoken old wounds and triggers, you have lit up their fears and ego….all you did…was show up.
You cannot stop being light, and dimming was never the assignment. So do not spend your life apologizing for the temperature of rooms. What you owe yourself instead is preparation, because wars you did not declare will still send soldiers, and whatever went to war in them cannot stay hidden forever. War always moves. Sooner or later the soldiers surface dressed as an action: a phone call, a whisper, a look of disdain, a correction or comment, a door that closes strangely. And the moment they move, they become something you can read. Because everything sent at you arrives carrying two things: an intention and information. The intention is theirs to answer for. The information is yours to keep.
If your presence starts wars, then you must learn the two skills that turn every war into supply.
So the first skill is discernment: learning to read the move instead of the words. If you listen closely enough, people will always tell on themselves. Watch what they do, when they do it, and what it was timed to interrupt. Every move against you is a confession. It tells you their fear, their position, and exactly what they believe you are worth, which is usually more than they will ever say to your face. The question is never “why me.” The question is “what did this just reveal,” and the answer is always information you did not have yesterday.
The second skill is the alchemy. Discernment tells you what a thing is. Alchemy decides what it becomes. This is the old work of the soul: taking what was sent for your harm and walking it, deliberately, into your favor. Scripture knew this long before we dressed it in modern language. You meant it for evil. God meant it for good. Joseph’s brothers dug the pit, and the pit turned out to be routing. Every hand that pushed him down pushed him toward the throne, and not one of them knew they were carrying him.
And nobody is born doing this. Transmutation is an apprenticeship, and everyone begins as a bad apprentice. The first blow always comes as a surprise because it finds you not ready, your stance is not skilled. You rage, you replay it, you rehearse speeches for people who will never hear them. All that strength, spent prosecuting a hand you should have been reading. But apprentices improve. Every blow after the first teaches you to waste less of yourself. Feel the thing, fully and briefly, because the feeling is carrying the message. Then ask the fear what it knows. Fear is like a beautiful woman wearing rags. Undress it and it will show you the exact place where you need to pay attention because it is unfinished, which is the exact place your next season is waiting to be built.
And then you move…I did not say you start explaining…you go and build the exact thing the fear showed you. The blow already handed you everything it had, the confession, the gap, the instruction. Take it and go. It was only ever weight. Carrying it wrong bends you. Carrying it right builds you. Person one spends the month explaining themselves to people who were never confused, person two spends the same month building on the very spot the blow exposed. Same blow. Two very different harvests.
So if you know you have something, and somewhere in you, you know, let me prepare you instead of comfort you: this will happen. It will happen more as the light grows, not less. It is not a sign that something has gone wrong. It is evidence of what you carry. Some of what comes against you does not deserve your fear at all. Some of it deserves your gratitude, because it arrived carrying intelligence you needed and could not have bought.
How you react to it, how you move, will be the catalyst to your glory.
Transmute fear into knowledge, and knowledge into profit. Channel negative energy into creation, and creation into visibility. If your suffering profited you not, then you are a dummy (I love you)
ALL THINGS work together for your good. If it is not working for your good, you need to rework it because THAT, is a higher law.
