The Observer’s Manifesto
I’ll tell you something…everybody sees life through their own lens. And in their lens, their story, their reasoning, and their perspective make perfect sense. And you know what? That’s okay too. Because I can’t talk you out of your programming, your script, or your deeply embedded code.
To rewrite the code, the coder must find the bug. I, the observer, cannot do so. I can only observe.
And maybe that’s the beauty of it all…Hear me out…
Billions of people, walking around at different times, in different seasons, living their wonderfully diverse lives. Each coded so uniquely it turns life into prime time television. The hero’s journey. The villain’s origin story. The rise. The fall. The visions. The burdens. The arc. The unexpected redemption. The plot twists…
I am living mine too. So how dare I interfere with yours?
I don’t think our job is to change anyone else’s story. I think our job is to live our own…so fully, so authentically, so vividly…that it lights a path. A path that sparks the next person’s chapter. And theirs sparks another. And another. And another. Until what we have is a symphony of visibility. The ignition of a shared becoming.
That’s the power of being seen. Not for applause. Not for perfection. But for connection. That we live, vulnerably and honestly…judgment and error and all…and that visibility causes something in someone else. A reaction. A shift. A spark.
We do not get to control that reaction. If we try, we become performers for a non-paying public. Puppets to expectation. Dancing monkeys in a show we never auditioned for.
But if we simply live fully and freely, then that sliver of truth becomes a flame. And that flame lights another. And so begins the beautiful, brilliant cycle of collective revolution.
You can’t change the world.
But you can change the space you carve for yourself.
And when you truly show up in that space… the world gets brighter because you were in it.
So live.
With full self-awareness.
With a North Star.
With a hunger for your highest potential.
And with the painful, powerful commitment to your own self-discovery, self-definition, and self-development.
This is how we become whole.
This is how we light the way.
This is how the revolution begins.
