Productivity Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All

One thing that isn’t talked about enough when it comes to productivity—being disciplined, consistent, and actually doing the things you set out to do—is your energy levels and capacity.

Imagine calling someone lazy or inconsistent because they’re juggling kids, searching for money, going to school, going through tough times, having a 9-5 (in fact, 9-9🥹), or navigating a depressive season in their business when things just aren’t going well… I just wanted to tell anyone feeling pressured, overwhelmed or inadequate that You are not broken**.**

Productivity doesn’t mean forcing yourself into a one-size-fits-all mould. Instead, it’s about understanding your energy patterns, respecting them, and designing a life that works for YOU.

You don’t have to follow the same patterns as those who inspire you. Instead of pushing through when you’re drained, study your body and energy cycles. Find the days, times, or environments where your efforts feel less exhausting and more effective. Figure out when your efforts feel most natural. Some people lose weight by going to the gym; others do it at home, walking or dancing in their living rooms. Some people learn by reading books; others take online courses, listen to podcasts, join study groups, or even scroll through social media for bite-sized insights. When it comes to creativity, some people work in silence; others thrive with music, vibrant colours, or in cafés.

Honour your rhythms.

There’s no single path—your way is valid.

You don’t have to do things the way others do.

Focus on activities that align authentically with your true self, focus on what genuinely excites you…yes, YOU. Distinguish between pursuits driven by genuine interest and those fueled by societal obligations or expectations. Honour your unique way of operating, and build a life that celebrates your strengths and capacities.

When you work with your energy—not against it—you’re more likely to enjoy the process, stay consistent, and achieve long-term success.

Energy alignment leads to sustainability. Believe me…that is the easiest way in this journey of yours.

Plus, your nervous system will thank you :)

I just wanted to say this before everyone starts gearing up for their “New Year, New Me” January surge. 😉
